Foodie Monday: Creating a menu planning skeleton

Hi guys,

It’s Foodie Monday and it’s a great idea to create a menu planning skeleton.

A menu planning skeleton will take the mystery out of making dinner each day & it’s the best, simplest way to start menu planning.  Here’s mine:

Sunday – Roast/fancy meal

Monday – Pasta

Tuesday – Chicken

Wednesday – Beef

Thursday – Pork

Friday – Kids choice

Saturday – Pizza/ easy meal/crockpot


That’s it!  Change as needed to suit your family.  I like to make a fancy meal on Sunday as I usually have extra time in the kitchen.  Monday’s pasta since I’m usually tired and that’s a quick meal.  Kids choice is on Friday and they usually like to cook or have grilled cheese sandwiches, and so on.  Have fun with your planning 🙂
