Foodie Monday: Banana Muffins

Hi friends,

Here’s my hundreds over times tested banana muffins recipe for you to try.  It’s Max’s favourite and a batch never lasts more than 24 hours in this house.

Best Banana Muffins

– 3 or 4 large bananas, mashed

– 1/2 c. white sugar

– 1 egg

– 1/3 c. margarine

– 1 tsp. baking soda

– 1 tsp. baking powder

– 1/2 tsp. salt

– 1/2 c. quick rolled oats

– 1 1/2 c. flour

– Optional: 1/2 c. chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Mix the banana, sugar, egg, and margarine.  Add all dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.  Pour into greased muffin tins.  Bake for 24 minutes for regular muffins and 20 minutes for mini muffins.
