Here’s a weeknight family favourite restaurant that I usually serve with a simple salad and rice on the side, from Company’s Coming 4 Ingredient Recipes, page 87:
Snappy Apple Pork
– 19 oz. can of apple pie filling
– Box of Stovetop stuffing mix
– 3 tbsps. butter, cut up
– 4-6 pork chops
Spread pie filling in the bottom of a 9″ x 13″ casserole dish.
Make stuffing according to package directions. Spoon onto pie filling in casserole dish.
Heat a greased frying pan onto medium-high. Brown pork chops on both sides for 1-2 minutes. Arrange on top of stuffing in casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
