Here’s another family favourite recipe for one of everyone’s favourite foods around here – burgers!
– 2 lbs. ground chicken
– 1 large Granny Smith apple, peeled & finely diced (I have used Red Delicious too)
– 1 large shallot, minced (I’ve used white onion too)
– Cumin, paprika, salt and pepper to taste
Mix the ingredients, and gently form 4 patties about 1″ thick each. Use your thumb to make a small indentation on each patty so that they don’t puff as they cook. Refrigerate until ready to grill on the BBQ or cook on the stovetop in a pan. Cook 11-13 minutes, turning once.
