Here’s another Wroblewsky family recipe – so delicious!
Mike’s Alfredo Sauce
– 3 tbsp. butter
– 3 tbsp. all purpose flour
– 1/2 yellow onion, minced
– 2 tbsp. mince garlic
– 2 1/2 c. 1% milk
– 1 tsp. each salt and white pepper (you can use black pepper if that’s what you have)
– 1 c. parmesan cheese
Melt butter in a large frying pan. Add onions, garlic, season with salt and pepper.
Saute for 5 minutes, add flour and stir well until doughy.
Slowly pour in milk, simmer on low for 10 minutes. Add parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
Add extra milk if too thick – enjoy with pasta of your choice.
