Here’s a simple pantry organization tip:
Keep a shelf in your pantry (mine’s at the bottom) to keep extra staple foods. Mine has:
– Peanut butter, jam, honey
– Flour, oatmeal, bread flour, white sugar
– Croutons, salad dressings, tartar sauce, salsa, mayo, ketchup, mustard, relish
– Vinegar, olive oil, worcestershire sauce, soya sauce, cooking sherry and white wine
These are the staples that I keep stocked, what I do is every time I’m running out of one in the fridge, I will pull the next one from the extra staples shelf and put it on the grocery list so that I have one for back up at all times. It works! I never run out and will stock up on extras when on sale.
